Black-belted Flowerpecker
Yellow-breasted Fruit Dove
In the mountains of Talisay, is a lush patch of greenery called Dalawidaw Hide, where endemics flock to take a refreshing bath on their makeshift, bamboo streams, while feasting on the surrounding fruiting trees. One of their frequent visitors is the Flame-templed Babbler, locally known as "Dalawidaw", where the hide is named after. Dalawidaw Hide is a testament that nature conservation and eco-tourism is possible. And if done right, it can be a safe haven for our endemic avian treasures.
